Hi Everyone, I am pleased to announce that I have published the initial draft of our "Requirements and Use Cases" document. You can find this work in Pull Request #2 in our GitHub repository: https://github.com/w3c-cg/vsc/pull/2 This document represents the first formal step in our group's standardization efforts. My objective in establishing this draft is to: Define our technical boundaries: To ensure we solve for interoperability without scope creep. Establish a "Problem Statement": To anchor our future technical work in real-world supply chain challenges. Provide a central baseline: To serve as the foundation for community refinement and future specification drafts. How to participate: I invite all members to review the rendered draft and provide feedback. I am specifically looking for input on: Use Case Alignment: Do these scenarios accurately represent the most pressing needs in supply chain transparency? Technical Scope: Are there boundaries we should explicitly set now? Clarity: Is the terminology clear for our intended audience? Please provide your feedback directly via the GitHub PR. I intend to merge this as the foundational baseline for our work by Monday , provided there are no blocking objections. Thank you for your contributions to this important initiative. Best regards, Amir Hameed Mir Chair, Verifiable Supply Chain Community Group
