preferred assistive technologies.

debbie: can we do anything with the Spoken Presentation Task
   Force?

dirk: what about AI, won't that help?
. what about dynamic chat bot output?
. that would be more complementary to what we're doing

debbie: will convert spreadsheet to markdown so that everyone
   can edit

  github issues

   issue 70

dirk: agent group has done a nice comparison of protocols
. this would be good for the OVON group to see [8]https://
   w3c-cg.github.io/ai-agent-protocol/
. they have overlap with the web agent group

      [8] https://w3c-cg.github.io/ai-agent-protocol/

debbie: we should read these and decide if there is useful
   information

      [9] https://w3c-cg.github.io/webagents/TaskForces/Interoperability/Reports/report-interoperability.html

debbie: these are not focused on conversational agents

  workshop

kaz: what is the difference between our workshop and AI agent
   workshop
. we will be focusing on voice and multimodal
. we want to improve interoperability

<kaz> Thanks to the advancement of HTML5 and related Web
technologies, Web applications with speech capability are
getting more and more popular for ease of user interaction and
richer user experience, such as Apple's SIRI, Google's Voice
   Assistant, and Amazon's Alexa.

even simpler applications with speech capability are getting
more and more popular for ease of user interaction and richer
   user experience,

kaz: if we update the sentences in the background the proposal
   could be acceptable.
. will bring the proposal to the strategy team next Tuesday

   <kaz> [10]workshop repo

     [10] https://github.com/w3c/smartagents-workshop/

kaz: could dirk update the original github issue on the Smart
   Agents workshop?

debbie: did we talk about changing the name to Voice Agents?

   kaz: or Smart Voice Agents

debbie: that would be fine with me

kaz: should be held before TPAC (November), so how about
   September?

kaz: twenty or thirty people would be fine

kaz: twenty speakers and some more audience

dirk: need approval from the strategy team, then we have to
form program committee and get position papers

debbie: position statement could be very lightweight

kaz: should have participation from tech companies

   debbie: what about governments?

kaz: they should be interested in accessibility

   debbie: also smart cities
   . also Web of Things

dirk: summarize the next action points

debbie: dirk needs to update the CFP
. kaz will bring it to the strategy team
. kaz can tell us outcome next week

dirk: do we have a link to the other workshop?

   <kaz> [11]w3c/strategy#507

     [11] https://github.com/w3c/strategy/issues/507

dirk: this is mostly about collaboration among agents and not
   interaction
