The 2023 W3C Technical Plenary (TPAC) this year will be a hybrid meeting to be held 11-15 September in Seville, Spain (https://www.w3.org/2023/09/TPAC/Overview.html). Community Groups (like the Voice Interaction Community Group) can request to meet for a 90 minute or 2 hour time slot during the Technical Plenary. There is also the possibility of scheduling joint meetings with other groups during this week. I'm interested to hear if anyone has opinions/preferences about whether we should hold a meeting. Pros: possible synergistic interactions with other groups, ability to participate in general activities like breakout sessions and Plenary Day Cons: there were only a few participants in our group meeting at TPAC last year (https://www.w3.org/2022/09/13-voiceinteraction-minutes.html), there is a registration fee (including a fee even for remote attendees), and practically speaking, this wouldn't be much different from an extra-long Zoom call for remote participants. If we want to meet we have to let the W3C know by May 22, so please post your thoughts to the list if you have any opinions.
