Subject: [voiceinteraction} Call for Consensus to publish the second draft
of the Intelligent Personal Assistants Architecture document

Dear members of the W3C Voice Interaction Community Group,

This is a Call for Consensus (CfC) to the Voice Interaction Community Group
proposing a Draft publication of:

Intelligent Personal Assistant Architecture
Architecture and Potential for Standardization Version 1.1

https://w3c.github.io/voiceinteraction/voice%20interaction%20drafts/paArchit
ecture-1-1.htm

Abstract:

This document describes a general architecture of Intelligent Personal
Assistants and explores the potential for standardization. It is meant to be
a first structured exploration of Intelligent Personal Assistants by
identifying the components and their tasks. Subsequent work is expected to
detail the interaction among the identified components and how they ought to
perform their task as well as their actual tasks respectively. This document
may need to be updated if any changes result of that detailing work. It
extends and refines the description of the previous version Architecture and
Potential for Standardization Version 1.0.

***Action to Take***

This CfC is now open for objection and comment, as well as statements of
support via email. Silence will be interpreted as support, though messages
of support are certainly welcome.

If you object to this proposed action, or have comments concerning this
proposal, please respond by replying on list to this message no later than
23:59 (Midnight) Boston Time, July 16, 2021.

Best regards,
Deborah Dahl
