Hi Dan, Guha and everyone else on this thread, I'm not sure we can squeeze those two properties into rNews 1.1 (as there are cutoff times to comply with the IPTC's rules to propose and approve changes to standards). But that doesn't mean we can't put them into rNews 1.2 and add them to schema.org whenever you guys want to. I think, however, that copyEditor is redundant: That's an editor. That's precisely why we added the "editor" property to rNews -- because Reuters wanted to markup the folks who did fact checking and editing on a given text. factChecker, again, within professional publishing that's essentially the job duty of an editor. But I do realize that some folks might want to express that separately. My personal opinion: add factChecker, use the existing editor for whatever the original poster wanted to use copyEditor. Other thoughts? -ag ________________________________________ From: Dan Brickley [danbri@danbri.org] Sent: Tuesday, October 16, 2012 23:21 To: Guha Cc: John Bachir; public-vocabs@w3.org; Andreas Gebhard; Stuart Myles; Evan Sandhaus Subject: Re: proposal to add factChecker and copyEditor to NewsArticle On 16 October 2012 13:45, Guha <guha@google.com> wrote: > That sounds like a good idea. > > guha Likewise, sounds good to me. I'd like to hear from the rNews team on this though. I had a call with Andreas a little while back about planning for rNews 1.1. Andreas/Stuart/Evan, any thoughts?
