Inherited types for properties

Hello, all

 

I have a question about using inherited types for properties.

For instance, in http://schema.org/Review we have itemReviewed property of
http://schema.org/Thing type. Does that mean that one can use item of any
type (Product, Organization, etc) for this property?

 

I believe that`s right but I didn't find any confirmation of that.
