Announcing the Veres One Board and Advisors, Next Steps

*Greetings Veres One Community Group,*

It is my pleasure to announce the founding Board of Governors and the 
Advisory Council for the Veres One Foundation. We are thrilled to have 
such an esteemed Board and Advisory Council in place to protect the 
mission of the Veres One Foundation and provide input on technical, 
legal, and community matters. The bios of the Veres One Board of 
Governors and Advisory Council <https://veres.one/about/>are available 
on the Veres One website. We also appreciate everyone who has joined the 
Veres One Community Group so far; it will play a critical role in the 
governance of the Veres One Foundation and Blockchain. This project is a 
labor of love and we are grateful to have a community we can entrust 
Veres One to.


Digital Bazaar is eager to incorporate the Veres One Foundation and hand 
it over to the Board of Governors and the Veres One Community Group as 
soon as possible. We will be initiating a discussion on the mailing list 
about incorporation in the next week that once resolved will enable us 
to execute on incorporating the Veres One Foundation and remove Digital 
Bazaar from any decision making authority. Once the incorporation 
process has begun it should be completed in approximately two months. We 
are in contact with additional Board and Advisory candidates; more 
Governors and Advisors may be added while the incorporation process is 
underway.


Once the legal entity is formed we will do an official launch of the 
Veres One Community Group with a first conference meeting that will 
include a presentation about the Veres One Foundation to bring everyone 
up to speed.

here. The governance of this project is designed to be radically 
transparent with all discussions and decisions happening on this mailing 
list. **
