Manu is currently on the Thanksgiving holidays; let me update you.

The status of the VCDM has not changed since the first answer of Manu: it is in a final form, without any expected change (beyond possible editorial improvements). The WG is currently in the process of finalizing other documents (most notably the Controller Document), which took some delays. The present deadline for us is to publish the whole suite of documents in the course of February 2025.
