Dear VCWG, As discussed during the telecon this week[1], I have merged all of the outstanding "before CR" PRs that have approvals for VCDM v2.0 down to main and prepped a draft for Candidate Recommendation: https://w3c.github.io/vc-data-model/CR/2024-01-30/ The document has been validator, CSS, and link checked and is (syntactically and procedurally) ready for the transition to CR. AFAICT, there are only two remaining issues to get closure on before going to CR: 1. The "layering violations"[2] concerns that MikeJ raised, which I believe are now addressed. We need confirmation from MikeJ on that. 2. A new request from JeffreyY regarding further guidance on "Credential Type Specifications"[3] (aka vocabulary extensions). As discussed this past week[1], we plan to make a call for consensus to proceed to Candidate Recommendation with VCDM v2.0 during the call this week. -- manu [1]https://www.w3.org/2017/vc/WG/Meetings/Minutes/2024-01-03-vcwg [2]https://github.com/w3c/vc-data-model/issues/1377 [3]https://github.com/w3c/vc-data-model/issues/1410 -- Manu Sporny - https://www.linkedin.com/in/manusporny/ Founder/CEO - Digital Bazaar, Inc. https://www.digitalbazaar.com/
