We used JSON Schema for vLEI credentials that began being issued this year.

We’ve been working to improve the VC JSON Schema specification to enable us to normatively referencing it in the VCDM. I know of a number of companies using JSON Schemas in production around VCs, this is a formalization of that concept that adds some helpful metadata and processing rules to make sure we’re using JSON Schemas consistently.

 

So far, the work has taken place in the CCG. I believe it’s time to move the work into the working group to give it the care and attention it needs to progress it toward completion of a first version. We have a number of issues open and could use your help. 

 

Here is a link to Block/TBD’s current implementation of the spec.

 

To progress the work item we need two other companies that are interested in helping develop the spec, so please raise your hand if you are interested.
