Draft Schedule for March and Feature Freeze

Greeting VCWG Participants,


We have been working toward feature freeze in the VCWG, with a goal of declaring it by the end of March 2023.
The chairs would like to share our plan for the remainder of the month to avoid any surprises.

There are currently 4 work items that the chairs are aware of that have not been adopted by the group.

We will have two more regular VCWG calls this month:

  1.  Next week, March 15, we expect to hear proposals for DI ECDSA and VC JSON Schema.
  2.  The following week, March 22, we expect to hear a proposal for DI BBS and a revised proposal for VC ACDC.

The meeting originally scheduled for March 29 has been cancelled because of conflicts for many group participants who will be at IETF meetings.

If you are a VCWG participant who is hoping to make a proposal that is not listed above, you need to reach out to the chairs [1] so that we can make time on the agenda for you.

As a reminder our process for adopting work items:

  1.  Has the work item been socialized on the mailing list (at least on week of discussion)?
  2.  Is the work item within the scope of the charter?
  3.  Is it supported by at least 3 participants from different organizations?
  4.  Adoption only requires rough consensus (as decided by the chairs)
