Under the proposed charter the Working Group will concentrate on a new version of the Verifiable Credentials Data Model, originally published in 2019, with some minor updates in 2021 and 2022. The proposed team resource is 0.15 FTE. Section 10.1 [1] in the proposed charter provides an overview of the history of the Working Group, and pointers to earlier charters. To see all changes relative to the current charter, follow this link [2]. Current participants will not need to re-join the group if the new charter is approved. The group is currently chaired by Brent Zundel (Evernym) and Wayne Chang (Spruce Systems). Accepting the new charter includes the nomination of Kristina Yasuda (Microsoft) to replace Wayne Chang (Spruce Systems). In anticipation to this review, the current charter [3] of the Working Group is extended until the 31 July 2022. More information about the group can be found on its homepage [4].
