Dear Advisory Committee Representative,
Chairs,

This is advance notice that the Team and Working Group participants are 
currently working on a new charter for the Verifiable Credentials 
Working Group, with a primary mission to extend VC foundations with new 
standardized technologies and improve the use of verifiable credentials 
on the Web based on the experience gained through implementation, 
deployment, and usage of verifiable credentials over the past few years.

The current Verifiable Credentials Working Group charter [1] is hereby 
extended until 30 April 2022. This extension will allow additional time 
to continue the development of a new Working Group charter.

The proposed renewed VC Working Group is chartered to publish a new 
version of the current Recommendation [2] and also standardize the ways 
of expressing proofs of integrity for bounded documents such as 
verifiable credentials.
