Re: Agenda: Verifiable Claims Working Group (VCWG) Teleconference - 23 May 2017

Hi,

Thanks for organising the first two teleconferences of the WG! I have joined the working group, but unfortunately, I haven’t been able to make it to the teleconference yet. One of the reasons for that is the timing of them. I am based on the East Coast of Australia, which is at UTC+10, but only one hour ahead of places like Tokyo or Seoul, and the conference is for me at 1am in the morning. I am chairing another working group in the W3C that is happening at 6am in the morning on the same day (for me). As the office manager of the W3C in Australia I had already several conversations with people who are interested in joining the Verifiable Claims Working group, but the joining time is one of the main barriers. I would be very grateful if you could consider moving the conference a couple of hours earlier so that it may move to a more “reasonable” 11pm or so in my timezone which would also benefit the billions of people in the Asian market, some of whom might also be interested in joining the working group, but also face similar issues.
