Firefox implementation of DCCI?

Hello all

A quick introduction, since this is my first post to the list, and a
query arising from the minutes of the recent Dublin F2F.

My name is Peter Ferne I have been working with mobile web
technologies on and off since 1997 and locative web technologies for
the last three years, again on and off. I am currently starting a
project with HP Labs in Bristol researching possible architectures
and prototyping approaches for a locative web app running in a mobile
web browser. As such the work of the UWA-WG is obviously of keen
interest, and I hope to be able to take an active role in the work of
the group.

Reading through the UWA F2F minutes I see the following:

> DCCI (Keith Waters)
>
> ...
> [shows location hierarchy slide]
which I assume is this one:
Have Firefox implementation of this example.
Now I can see from the Implementation Report (http://www.w3.org/2001/
di/dci/ir/) that there are at least two implementations of DCCI under
development:
> A France Telecom group plug-in for Mozilla Firefox 2.0.0.3 browser.
> A France Telecom group implementation for Mozilla Minimo browser
> for Windows Mobile.
> It is expected there to be other implementations in the near future.
I assume the one Keith is referring to here is the Firefox plugin
rather than the Minimo one. My question is — would it be possible
for me to get access to this plugin? I would of course be happy to
respect any confidentiality requirements, although I would hope that
fundamental work of this kind would eventually be available under a
suitable open source licence.

Since my primary goal is to build an example application running in a
browser which exposes location information through the DCCI I am
anxious to avoid duplicating effort unnecessarily.

TIA
