Hi subscribers of the Unhosted Project / Community Group, This is to let you know that a new W3C WG was formed, it's called "Linked Web Storage" and it aims <https://www.w3.org/2024/09/linked-web-storage-wg-charter.html> to > enable the development of web applications where data storage, entity authentication, access control, and application provider are all loosely coupled [...] In its 'motivation and background' section, the WG charter mentions: > A number of initiatives — such as IndieWeb, Unhosted, and Solid — have emerged to propose alternative models for web applications. [...] Link to the WG (only paying W3C members can join): https://www.w3.org/groups/wg/lws/ Link to their public mailing list: https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-lws-wg/ Link to their charter: https://www.w3.org/2024/09/linked-web-storage-wg-charter.html Cheers, Michiel de Jong Chair Unhosted W3C CG
