Linked Web Storage WG formed at W3C

Hi subscribers of the Unhosted Project / Community Group,

This is to let you know that a new W3C WG was formed, it's called "Linked
Web Storage" and it aims
<https://www.w3.org/2024/09/linked-web-storage-wg-charter.html> to

> enable the development of web applications where data storage, entity
authentication, access control, and application provider are all loosely
coupled

In its 'motivation and background' section, the WG charter mentions:

> A number of initiatives — such as IndieWeb, Unhosted, and Solid — have
emerged to propose alternative models for web applications.
