Re: CfC for requesting transition of IMSC-HRM to Proposed Recommendation

The review period for this CfC has now closed and I can declare that we have consensus to request transition of IMSC-HRM to Proposed Recommendation.

The pull request https://github.com/w3c/imsc-hrm/pull/77 has 3 approvals and 0 outstanding objections.

The Implementation Report received some feedback and was updated to reflect that, in particular to explain better the “n/a” test results for test input documents that are not conformant to EBU-TT-D, which cannot be processed by the EBU-TT Live Toolkit implementation whose input requirement is EBU-TT-D conformance.

There were two actions arising from our meeting on 18th January, noted at https://www.w3.org/2024/01/18-tt-minutes.html#t02:

  * link from the test filenames in the implementation report to their locations in the test repository - done
  * where only one of a pass/fail pair of test documents describes the part of the specification that they test, copy that description to the other document – this is an open issue on the test repository at https://github.com/w3c/imsc-hrm-tests/issues/14 – in progress

Further to this consensus, there is now an additional action which falls to the Team, i.e. Atsushi, to draft the transition request.

Thanks all,

Nigel
