Webinar on Subtitles for Live Streams using TTML // Wednesday, Oct 21, 5 pm CEST

The TTWG work on the TTML Live Extensions Module is derived from EBU-TT
Live. A good opportunity to see a real world use case for these
specifications is the following event:

 

Wednesday, Oct 21, at 5pm (CEST) IRT will host a webinar about the use of
EBU-TT Live for contribution in a streaming scenario. The focus is a
lightweight solution for subtitling of live events that are distributed only
as internet streams.

 

Colleagues from the broadcaster rbb, the GPAC company Motion Spell, and IRT
will demonstrate how the standards EBU-TT Live and MPEG DASH integrate well
and how open source projects as the EBU-TT Live toolkit can be combined with
new commercial software.
