Re: Contribution of EBU-TT Live

Frans, TTWG,

As previously discussed I would like to take this forward and rebase these live contribution semantics on TTML in a new specification. I will create one based on this work, in the existing w3c/tt-module-live repo.

Kind regards,

Nigel

Dear TTWG,

As discussed before in our face-to-face meeting in Geneva earlier this year, the EBU would like to contribute to this group for use in further (e.g. IMSC Live) standardization work as the group sees fit:

  1. EBU Tech 3370 - EBU-TT Part 3 Live Subtitling https://tech.ebu.ch/publications/tech3370
  2. EBU Tech 3370s1 - EBU-TT Part 3 Carriage over WebSocket https://tech.ebu.ch/publications/tech3370s1

The EBU does not intend to further develop these specifications.

Best regards,

Frans de Jong

on behalf of the EBU Timed Text group
