nigelmegitt has just created a new issue for https://github.com/w3c/ttml2: == Error to omit units from length values only defined with units doesn't make sense == The `<length>` expression section includes an error statement that doesn't seem to make sense. Thread arising from #1109. >I just addressed your first in https://github.com/w3c/ttml2/pull/1109/commits/1960e3271820d5ced573b37af96e381b166f0293. However, your second point is superfluous to the present issue, and introduces something new (the issue of relative lengths). FYI, the reason that we added this text in the first place (some time ago) has nothing to do with relative units; rather, we had entertained dropping the requirement to have explicit units and defaulting to logical pixels (i.e., `px`) as is done with SVG; however, we decided against that path and decided instead to add this statement (which I agree could be viewed as redundant) as being an error to omit units. To conclude, I think we should not change this language at this time. _Originally posted by @skynavga in https://github.com/w3c/ttml2/pull/1109/files/9457dc5aec35b266a259eb33ea9473d9479ec8d6..1960e3271820d5ced573b37af96e381b166f0293_ Please view or discuss this issue at https://github.com/w3c/ttml2/issues/1116 using your GitHub account
