skynavga has just created a new issue for https://github.com/w3c/ttml2: == Consider allowing both @region and inline region on same element. == At present, the [process inline regions] procedure, as well as the note that precedes it, ignores an inline region in the case that `@region` is present, whether `@region` refers to a conditionally included or included `region` element; however, it may be desirable to permit both `@region` and an inline region such that if `@region` refers to a conditionally excluded region element, then the inline region would apply. As this would be a substantive change to TTML2 1e, we cannot consider it in 1e at this time; but it is a change that could be made in 2e. I am entering this issue here and marking for ttml.next, then closing immediately for possible resurrection in 2e. Please view or discuss this issue at https://github.com/w3c/ttml2/issues/910 using your GitHub account
