The editors of IMSC, TTML1, and TTML2 met today to review issues for discussion at this week's F2F. We were able to come to a preliminary understanding on recommended disposition of a number of issues, primarily related to TTML2, about which, see the most recent comments logged for the issues enumerate below. In addition, Cyril has agreed to serve as a co-editor on TTML2 in order to hasten its progress towards CR and REC. We expect the working group to review these issues (and Cyril's editorship) this week and make a final disposition towards their resolution. - ttml2/issues/238 <https://github.com/w3c/ttml2/issues/238> - text align and inline block - Remove inline block semantics from tts:textAlign. - ttml2/issues/264 <https://github.com/w3c/ttml2/issues/264> - tts:direction and tts:writingMode. - Cyril to propose PR - ttml2/issues/315 <https://github.com/w3c/ttml2/issues/315> - LWSP in rgb() - lwsp permitted by TTML1, even though not clearly documented - lwsp permitted between all tokens as per CSS syntax; explicitly document lwsp behavior in one place (conventions section) - ttml2/issues/329 <https://github.com/w3c/ttml2/issues/329> - contain not defined - closed by original commenter as WFM (works for me) - ttml2/issues/330 <https://github.com/w3c/ttml2/issues/330> - deprecate use of pixels without tts:extent on root element - agreed - ttml2/issues/364 <https://github.com/w3c/ttml2/issues/364> - require support for dfxp profiles - agreed - ttml2/issues/435 <https://github.com/w3c/ttml2/issues/435> - remove ttp:version - agreed - ttml2/issues/458 <https://github.com/w3c/ttml2/issues/458> - backward compatibility language - agreed - ttml2/issues/490 <https://github.com/w3c/ttml2/issues/490> - alt/altText - agreed to changes for altText named item to improve consistency with IMSC; - agreed to remove ttm:alt attribute - ttml2/issues/539 <https://github.com/w3c/ttml2/issues/539> - DAR/PAR when only SAR specified - agreed The Editor's Team (Glenn, Philippe, Cyril)
