As discussed in today's TTWG meeting I attended the Privacy WG to discuss TTML2 which they are horizontally reviewing. Minutes are at https://www.w3.org/2017/07/27-privacy-minutes.html In short, there were a few recommendations: * Include the privacy of preference and image fetching statements that are in the IMSC 1.0.1 privacy and security section, or equivalents. * Consider referencing fetch or cors as well as service workers for defining how constraints on which external resources can be fetched for presentation can be managed. * Highlight that implementations that fetch resources on demand (whey they're needed for presentation) might give away information such as tracking data about the user's consumption of the TTML content. Kind regards, Nigel
