David, Simon, I am currently working on the new TTWG Charter. https://w3c.github.io/charter-drafts/timed-text-charter-2016.html In section 8: ["This Working Group will use the W3C Document license for TTML and IMSC specifications. For other deliverables the Working Group may choose either the W3C Document license or the W3C Software and Document license."] Would you like to have the charter to explicitly say that the Working Group will use for WebVTT: - the W3C Document license - the W3C Software and Document license.
