nigelmegitt has just created a new issue for https://github.com/w3c/imsc: == No text describing default namespace used in spec == There are places in the spec where the main TTML namespace (usually written as `tt`) is omitted, such as §6.9: > The `ttp:profile` attribute should be present on the `tt` element ... Related to this, we seem to have omitted the TT namespace from the set listed in §6.3 Namespaces - it should be added. I can't see any wording that says that if namespace is omitted then the TTML namespace is intended - I suggest adding either to §6.3 Namespaces or to §2 Document Conventions something like [TTML 1 §5.1](https://www.w3.org/TR/ttml1/#vocabulary-namespaces): > If a reference to an element type is used in this specification and the name of the element type is not namespace qualified, then the TT Namespace applies. alternatively we could fully qualify all element names.
