I have received the following from Peter Cherriman in his DVB role - he sent it to public-tt but it doesn't seem to have got through the approval process yet to appear on the list. Since this is time-sensitive I'm sending on his behalf: --- Dear Sir or Madam, I am the chairman of the recently reactivated subtitle technical group (TM-SUB) within DVB (www.dvb.org). The group has been reactivated to consider technologies for subtitling video content up-to and including UHDTV resolution. Members of the group have been asked to review your latest working draft of IMSC1. Unfortunately the next meeting of DVB TM-Sub group in which we will collate comments is on the morning of 27th October (UK time). I understand this is also the last day of your public review period. So this email is to inform you that any comments from DVB will not arrive until the 27th October. I will endeavour to email comments received on your IMSC1 document, as soon as possible after our meeting, which ends at 11.30am UTC/GMT. Peter Cherriman (TM-SUB chairman) -- Dr. Peter Cherriman BBC Research & Development
