ISSUE-292 (ebu:documentIntendedTargetFormat): Specify target formats for which the TTML has been authored for easy conversion [TTML2] http://www.w3.org/AudioVideo/TT/tracker/issues/292 Raised by: Nigel Megitt On product: TTML2 ebuttm:documentIntendedTargetFormat Description: Indicates the subtitle format an author had in mind when authoring an EBU-TT document or transforming another format to an EBU-TT document. Ref: https://tech.ebu.ch/docs/tech/tech3350.pdf#page=22 This supports workflows in which TTML is authored with the specific intention of converting to alternative formats downstream. It represents an informal contract between the subtitle author and the downstream converter to indicate that the TTML document should be convertible with no loss of editorial information. For example if this includes the value "WSTTeletext" then this implies, amongst other things, that the text will fit within the row constraints of teletext, i.e. no more than 40 (actually 37) characters on any row occupying the full width of the root extent.
