Per your question<http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-tt/2012Jul/0006.html>, feedback is being taken from industry - EBU, DECE (CFF-TT) and SMPTE, and are being considered for profile updates. This is a FPWD.

Thanks.

Does this profile reflect general input from the industry (such as my recent email), or just the microsoft input?

Sean,
Glenn has implemented the changes noted for Action 91 (http://www.w3.org/AudioVideo/TT/tracker/actions/91) to add a description on character edge attributes that I provided.

Note: Text outline can be specified using a style property to apply to glyphs selected for specific areas for content flowed into a region. Text outline applies a specific character edge to content. For example, when <textOutline-unblurred> is used, a type of shadow or thickness can be applied to content.

We are ready to release the First Public Working Draft (FPWD) Sean.

Thanks to Glenn for the great work!

Monica
