ISSUE-93: consider replacing 'base' attribute on ttp:{extensions,features} with xml:base [DFXP 1.0] http://www.w3.org/AudioVideo/TT/tracker/issues/93 Raised by: Glenn Adams On product: DFXP 1.0 to improve consistency of usage, i recommend replacing the 'base' attribute on ttp:{extensions,features} elements with the standard xml:base attribute; note, however, that there is one potential problem with this, which is that we define distinct default values for 'base', and that these default values are different than what would be normally computed by a compliant xml:base processor, which would imply a default based on the document base, i.e., the URI associated with the DFXP document itself; see the note in section 4.3 of [1]; [1] http://www.w3.org/TR/2009/REC-xmlbase-20090128/ to get around this potential defaulting problem, we could specify that xml:base is a required attribute on both ttp:extensions and ttp:features;
