Hi group! Today we’ve been discussing moving away from the term tree:View, a term that has been proposed in the past but that never made it into the spec so far, to instead have the term tree:SearchTree as a subClass of a dcat:Distribution instead. We would only talk about this class and any link to DCAT from now in the discovery specification which we are splitting off from the core specification that will only focus on interface traversal (search forms and relations). The pull request is to be prepared by our next meeting the 21st of August. Slides: https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1Vv3JDkpN5gk6sMgnWAKIWeJmWM4xVWGffSque23B99o/edit#slide=id.g211f8674dda_0_15 As by the 21st of August we will not have many more meetings planned in our schedule after that, the fact that we are still a small group, and the fact that by then we should have 3 distinct parts of the spec (the core spec on search tree traversal and the collection design, the shape topology algorithm, and the discovery algorithm), we will also be able to plan meetings with a more specific agenda, and we will maybe be able to attract more people in our group. That’s to be discussed as well on the 21st of August. Until then, enjoy the summer! Kind regards, Pieter
