The [15 September 2020 W3C Patent Policy](https://www.w3.org/policies/patent-policy/20200915/) does not carry any licensing requirements or commitments on this document.

This document was developed by the Advisory Board in cooperation with its [Vision Task Force](https://www.w3.org/wiki/AB/VisionTF), and reflects the consensus of the AB at the time of publication. The intent is for this document to eventually become a [W3C Statement](https://www.w3.org/2023/Process-20230612/#w3c-statement). It will continue to evolve, and the AB will issue updates as often as needed.

The AB was part of the Council for the FO.
