In case anyone missed it here is IAB EU's Transparency & Consent Framework, their response to the GDPR and EPR. https://info.quantcast.com/gdpr.html It addresses many of the same issues as our API, and has the advantage it does not require anything from the browser side, at the expense of elaborate implementation and a big fingerprinting risk. It implements site-specific consent by encoding the consented-to parties in in one or all of 1) a first-party cookie, 2) in a third-party cookie in an "Industry Body" managed domain. 3) in third-party cookies for individual adtech company managed domains. The fingerprinting risk is because the cookies will often be unique unless users either agree to all tracking by anyone or none at all, and they are potentially available web-wide. While it is good to see IAB EU recognising that there has to be an opt-in system to meet the legal requirements, I think our system is far better, both from a privacy and a level-playing field commercial POV. But it does need to be supported by the browser companies. Mike
