Dear TPWG, sorry for missing last week's call - It was one of the weeks where PST and Germany were not 9h difference. I now managed to return and scan the recent emails. It seems that we are converging on how to handle purposes. The broad ideas that I saw were (please correct me if I am wrong): - TSR may define purposes (bits) - Users consent to a subset of purposes/bits - Servers are allowed to insert a bit-string into the site-wide exceptions - The site and subsites get the bit-string appended to DNT;0 to configure their site. On Monday, I would like to double check whether we converged and if yes, solicit a text proposal. The call will be at 9am Pacific (I need to double check what this means for Germany ;-) Regards, matthias
