The Working Group would like to continue Recommendation-track focus work on the TPE specification: an HTTP header to signal the preference and a site's response, and the use of an ECMAScript API or DOM property for the same purpose. A main focus for the extended implementation phase is to demonstrate the viability of TPE to address the requirements for managing cookie and tracking consent that satisfies the requirements of EU privacy legislation. Please use the following form to join the group. The form will also instruct you how to nominate participants: https://www.w3.org/2004/01/pp-impl/49311/join The Working Group co-Chairs are Carl Cargill (Adobe) and Matthias Schunter (Intel). The Team Contact is Bert Bos <bert@w3.org <mailto:bert@w3.org>>, for a total of 0.1 FTE.
