Proposed Charter Extension to December 2017 for the W3C Tracking Protection Working Group

Dear Wendy and Philippe,


enclosed you find the proposed charter extension.
 As agreed at TPAC, our main push for the next year will be to
finish the Tracking Preference Expression (TPE).

Our goal is to do so by evaluating the following inputs:
- Implementation experience (we have a sufficient number of
implementations for TPE).
- Requirements to use TPE to simplify compliance with EU privacy regulations
   (by using the user-granted exceptions to manage user opt-in).
- Potential implementation studies by Deutsche Telekom and/or Thompson
Reuters.

I would appreciate if you could handle the W3C process to extend our
charter (aka superpowers ;-).
If you need any support or input from us, do not hesistate to ask.
