Dear TPWG Participants, the W3C Tracking Protection Working Group has now formally submitted a proposal to extend our charter until 2017. Since we want the working group to continue, we need support by a sufficient number of members. There will be an AC vote on our charter and we need a sufficient number of votes! There are multiple good reasons to grant this extension: - We will use the regained momentum to publish our Tracking Preference Expression recommendation - We will demonstrate how this can be used to simplify privacy compliance in Europe (in particular opt-in for cookies and tracking). - We do not expect any further extensions. TODO: Please ensure that the AC representative of your organisation supports the extension. Thanks a lot! matthias
