Digital Marketing Workshop - please join us in Sept. in Tampa, Florida

Hi Tracking Protection WG,

We invite your participation and that of your colleagues in our upcoming
Digital Marketing Workshop. We ask interested parties to share
statements of interest by email to team-digimarketing@w3.org -- and to
send position papers by August 14. We'd be very interested to hear
your input as W3C considers how the Web works and where Web
standards may be needed for digital marketing.

More information is available below and online, at

Thanks!
---Wendy

W3C is pleased to call for participation in a workshop:
  Web and Digital Marketing Convergence
  September 17-18, 2015, in Tampa, Florida.
  http://www.w3.org/2015/digital-marketing-workshop/

Digital Marketing and the ecosystem surrounding it are growing at an
unprecedented pace as consumers and companies take advantage of new
devices, features, and content on the Web. As the Open Web Platform and
technologies such as HTML5 continue to expand and offer new
functionalities, brands, interactive marketers, content publishers and
third party providers are calling W3C's attention to gaps and
challenges, which include a lack of standards on the definition and
secure execution of, for example, marketing campaigns, advertising
performance, data collection, and marketing signals.

We invite participation from diverse players in the marketing and
technology industries: Marketers and advertisers, agencies, operations;
System and technology providers and consumers; Publishers; Ad ecosystem
players; Market researchers; Retailers; Brand Managers; Entertainment
Companies; Privacy/Security Researchers, and more.

Expected topics of discussion include:
* Campaigns
* Experience, Content, and Assets
* Metrics and Data Collection
* Channel and Delivery
* Audiences
* Context
* Performance
* Security and Privacy

Thanks to Nielsen for hosting the workshop and to Adobe for sponsorship.
