This issue was raised by Jack Hobaugh back in October of last year. At the time, Jack said that he would propose new language for the financial logging section, however, none was ever offered. On the call yesterday, Jack said he didn’t have any particular language in mind, but that he suggested that I ask the group if anyone wanted to offer suggestions. If anyone wants to propose specific textual changes, please do so to the list; otherwise, we will close the issue for lack of interest. Currently, the text provides: 3.3.2.2 Financial Logging Regardless of the tracking preference expressed, data may be collected and used for billing and auditing related to the current network interaction and concurrent transactions. This may include counting ad impressions to unique visitors, verifying positioning and quality of ad impressions and auditing compliance with this and other standards.
