I intend to reject this suggestion because it doesn't need to be said. In general, things that are obvious without being said are not included in technical specifications. Consider what the response would be if we were to add the opposite statement, along the lines of "This specification overrides regulatory terminology and conformance implies compliance with regulations." Obviously, such a statement would be false, so we don't need to say the converse either. ....Roy
