I can see where it makes sense, but I would prefer to table that for now. It seems to be out of scope and adds an additional level of complexity to implementation. I would like to see us focus on the current issues to help ensure our chances of hitting our July 2012 date. It is a question we (Opera) are having right now. Usually, without DNT, we have GET /community/graphics/prev.gif HTTP/1.1 User-Agent: Opera/9.80 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.7.2; U; fr) Presto/2.10.229 Version/11.60 Host: static.myopera.com Referer: http://my.opera.com/karlcow/blog/2011/11/24/disabling-http-referrers-for-privacy?cid=76045772 we would have automatically with DNT:1 GET /community/graphics/prev.gif HTTP/1.1 User-Agent: Opera/9.80 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.7.2; U; fr) Presto/2.10.229 Version/11.60 Host: static.myopera.com DNT:1 * Does it make sense? * Would it be nefarious for the issue we are trying to address about data aggregation? -- Karl Dubost - http://dev.opera.com/ Developer Relations & Tools, Opera Software
