Timeline for TPE Last Call and Update of Acknowledgements

Dear WG members,

we are closing in on TPE Last Call. This does not mean that our work is 
done but rather that we have a document, which is in a stage, where we, 
as a Working Group, think we have satisfied the relevant technical 
requirements and want to present it to the public and ask for technical 
reviews from stakeholders and experts. [1]

Thank you all for the great work, your time and patience that you 
contributed to this document!

We plan for the Editors, Roy and David, to walk the group through the 
Last Call ready version of the document on the call on March 26. You 
will have one more week after this call to ask questions and propose 
last editorial changes. So please prepare to provide your editorial 
feedback before the WG call on April 2nd at the latest. Please also keep 
in mind that editorial changes are only those, for which someone could 
reasonably expect that making the changes would not invalidate an 
individual's review or implementation experience.

 From April 3 to April 16 the Co-Chairs will ask the Working Group to 
make the decision for advancement of the document to Last Call. If there 
are *substantiated technical objections* against the Last Call 
advancement, you can raise them during this timeframe by sending an 
email to the mailing list. We hope to announce the successful 
advancement to Last Call on April 17.

The Last Call announcement will be followed by a 30 days period, in 
which the Working Group asks for external technical reviews (until May 
16). These technical reviews will be the basis for our further work on TPE.

In order to update the document before Last Call I would also like to 
ask you to review the *acknowledgements* [2]. If you have contributed to 
TPE but are not listed, please let us know.
