Hi Team,
CONTEXT
I believe that we all team members can live with the new approach to
exception.
In this model, the site controls the user experience and registers an
exception
with the browser once it is certain that the exception reflects actual
informed consent a user.
How to define requirements that ensure that sites reliably collect such
consent are currently under discussion.
PROPOSAL
In order to make progress, Jonathan and I agreed on the following steps.
suggest the following steps:
1. I have created ISSUE-194 that formalises this concern.
2. I have inserted ISSUE-194 into the corresponding section 6.3.1 of the
TPE spec
This clearly documents that we still need to resolve ISSUE-194 in
the TPE
3. I would like to now close ISSUE-187
ALL:
- If you are not OK with closing ISSUE-187 by down-scoping it to ISSUE-194,
please respond by Monday (April 15).
Thanks a lot!
matthias
