The mission of the Distributed Tracing Working Group is to define standards for interoperability between tracing tools. This proposed new charter drops the Trace Context protocol bindings. The proposed team resource for the group remains at 0.05 FTE. Current participants will not need to re-join the group if the new charter is approved.
