Hi all, The first binary format working group meeting took place today but only Christoph, Philippe, and I attended. I'm guessing it's because the meeting was on the W3C Trace Context calendar <https://calendar.google.com/calendar/embed?src=dynatrace.com_5a09qhua6fh7jb23h7vdjg6veg%40group.calendar.google.com&ctz=America%2FLos_Angeles> rather than an actual invite. We didn't consider 3 people a quorum so we'll carry forward the agenda to next Wednesday. You can find the notes here <https://docs.google.com/document/d/1GnOUekF4mRVNPKHadeYhcy34ssXb_cWsVfGys2vb-o0/edit#> . Topics for the meeting on 2020/06/24 @ 8:30 AM PDT: - Define the goal and scope of the binary format task force - Outreach to companies and projects that can provide expertise or user perspective - Review of what we have (Draft spec <https://w3c.github.io/trace-context-binary/>, trace-context-binary <https://w3c.github.io/trace-context-binary/>) I'll send invitations to the people that responded to the Doodle. If you don't receive an invitation, it's because I don't have your email address. Note: My company uses Bluejeans for videoconferencing so give yourself an extra minute if you aren't familiar with it.
