I think I'm actually the only one very sporadically active here, as there really hasn't been any more appetite to do anything further with Touch Events, but for posterity: I've started the process of closing out the TECG. Made a few final tweaks to the spec, to change its status and to add a note urging authors to transition to Pointer Events, and to treat Touch Events as a legacy API https://github.com/w3c/touch-events/pull/137 - and now waiting to have the final report in its proper resting place https://github.com/w3c/cg-reports/pull/43 Once all that is done, we'll update the Touch Events CG homepage https://www.w3.org/community/touchevents/ accordingly, archive the https://github.com/w3c/touch-events/ repository, and make sure that the errata link for Touch Events Level 1 ends up at the Final CG Report.
