alastor0325 has just created a new issue for https://github.com/w3c/webvtt: == Lack of the definition for "the base direction of the cue text" == In the spec, we only defined what [the base direction of each line in a cue](https://www.w3.org/TR/webvtt1/#webvtt-cue-text-alignment) is, > The base direction of each line in a cue (which is used by the Unicode Bidirectional Algorithm to determine the order in which to display the characters in the line) is determined by looking up the first strong directional character in each line, using the CSS plaintext algorithm. But we didn't define what **the base direction of the cue text** is if the cue text contains multiple lines. I suppose that the base direction of the cue text should be the base direction of the first line?
