Re: Web Platform Tests

Hi Ben,

I'm not sure how many people here are monitoring the github repository, but
I suspect it's very few.

To keep people in the loop, I'd suggest to share some more details about
how you're approaching the test effort and a brief weekly email with an
update on your progress. That way, everyone can be involved and help
address issues - e.g. discovered issues in browsers could be addressed or
challenges in the spec discussed.

We should make good use of this work to get the spec moved along its
standardisation path.

Best Regards,
Silvia.

Hello,

My name is Benjamin Schaaf.
I've been hired by David to work on the [web platform
tests](https://github.com/w3c/web-platform-tests) for webvtt.
I'll be contributing (and likely reorganizing) tests incrementally,
with the goal to get test coverage close to 100% of the current spec.

If anyone has any ideas, opinions, data or questions (anything
really), don't hesitate to talk to me.

Thanks,
