Hi all, As a consequence to bug https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=28073 , we recently changed our wording for the cue settings "position" and "line". The change was made in https://github.com/w3c/webvtt/pull/197 . You can read up on it in http://dev.w3.org/html5/webvtt/#webvtt-cue-settings . Pay particular attention to the use of "line offset" instead of "line position" now. The change was made to avoid the overloaded word "position" in both directions. There is a question in the pull request about whether this change makes the spec more readable or no. We're looking for input from others, in particular WebVTT authors. Cheers, Silvia.
