Thanks, Silvia I also have sent notices to a number of people and organizations asking for their review and feedback, notably: * MPEG mp4 file format ad-hoc (they have a packing into mp4) * 3GPP SA4 (multmedia and codecs) * EBU timed text * DVB * DASH industry forum and I asked a friend to make SMPTE also aware. If you (plurally) think of other places that should be aware of, or ideally will review and provide comments on, this spec., please also forward and let us know who you have contacted, or suggest them to me, and I will. We need to show evidence of ‘wide review’, so your help is appreciated. > On Nov 19, 2014, at 11:34 , W3C Community Development Team <team-community-process@w3.org> wrote: > > The Timed Text Working Group has released the First Public Working Draft for > WebVTT 1 at > http://www.w3.org/TR/webvtt1/ > > We'll be working towards Last Call very soon as per Charter. > > Feedback encouraged! > > > > ---------- > > This post sent on Web Media Text Tracks Community Group > > > > 'WebVTT First Public Working Draft released' > > http://www.w3.org/community/texttracks/2014/11/19/webvtt-first-public-working-draft-released/ > > > > Learn more about the Web Media Text Tracks Community Group: > > http://www.w3.org/community/texttracks > > > Dave Singer singer@mac.com
