https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=24715 Bug ID: 24715 Summary: [WebVTT] Need overscan support for non-snap-to-lines cues. Product: TextTracks CG Version: unspecified Hardware: PC OS: Linux Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: WebVTT Assignee: dave.null@w3.org Reporter: lorettaguarino@google.com QA Contact: public-texttracks@w3.org CC: philipj@opera.com, silviapfeiffer1@gmail.com "Cues whose text track cue snap-to-lines flag is set will be placed within the title-safe area on user agents that use overscan. Cues with the flag unset will be positioned as requested (modulo overlap avoidance if multiple cues are in the same place)." Authors need a way to avoid overscan problems when using non-snap-to-line cues. WebVTT should interpret percentage values as relative to the safe region. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the QA Contact for the bug.
